More than two decades ago….
The entrepreneur Boris M. Riek started up at age 19 before he had even finished his school education. After he had achieved his high school graduation in the USA in 1988 his German Abitur was obtained in 1990. He founded his hometown’s first bicycle courier service as early as 1991 in Osnabrück -a city of 160K which is located in Northwestern Germany- and was later involved in establishing a nationwide franchise system for overnight service in Germany which is still operating today.
Boris M. Riek has been involved in international business since 1993, an entrepreneur coach since 1997, and became a member of the board of ASTD Global Network Germany from 2003 – 2004. Himself a member of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) since 1999 and a member of the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York City, USA since 2004.
His activities as an entrepreneur involved engagements all over Germany and from many places in Europe, several States in the USA and activities in Seoul, South Korea to recent business relations in some Arabic countries such as Dubai, UAE.
He has been awarded an Honorary Citizenship by the Chamber of Commerce from Leedey, Oklahoma in 1988, when he was also awarded the Presidential Academic Fitness Award by then US President Ronald W. Reagan.
In his capacity as ‘Head of Faculty’, Boris M. Riek lastly headed the operations at entrepreneur academy, an academy which specializes in strengthening personalities.
